REACHING: At the Journey we seek to Reach out to bring others along through Radical Hospitality.

"He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me. Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward."

Thus far, our main focus has been on this core value of radical hospitality. We have been and will continue hosting community events throughout our area to help spread the word and invite others to join us along the Journey.

Jesus declares in Matthew chapter 18, “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” Even more than in His words, Jesus’ actions illustrate to us the extent to which God is willing to go in order to reach those He loves. This is a RADICAL hospitality that reaches well beyond the “open the doors and welcome those who come through them” mentality that many churches have. Instead, at The Journey, we seek to reach, invite, welcome, love and nurture people into a deeper and deeper relationship with this God who loves them so powerfully.

We seek to be a place where you come as you are and you feel accepted just as you are. At the same time, we seek to be a place where none of us leave the same as when we came in.
