Welcome to The Journey, we are glad you have joined us and we hope that you look around a bit and find out a little more about us! As you look around, please notice that towards the top of the page you will find the ROUTE tabs. Choose any of these to begin learning more about us.

We are a brand new United Methodist worshiping community in northern Hays County —in the vicinity of Buda and Kyle TX. We have been on the ground since June of 2007 and it has been a wild ride so far. We can’t wait to see what else God has in store and where He will take us!

We believe that God, through Jesus Christ, meets each of us right where we are – wherever that may be – and helps to guide us along our way. In doing so, we begin to understand that life is so much more than what we had thought or imagined. Here at The Journey, we will not promise you that you will find all the answers or that life will miraculously become perfect – but we will promise you that we will join with you on the search for something deeper and something more. And we believe that on our way, things will become a lot clearer – like the realization that God loves you more than you could ever imagine and desires amazing things for your life.

We believe that our faith walk with God is a journey and not a guilt trip. Consequently, we will not give you a list of do’s and don’ts – instead we will journey with you as you discover and live into the person God created you to be. And along the way, we expect that you will continue to help us discover and live into the church that God is breathing into existence and envisions us to be.

At The Journey United Methodist Church, our prayer is that we are going to a place where supporting and being supported by your faith community is vital – a place where real people with real issues can find real solutions through real relationships. Come and join us on The Journey.
